WHAT IS WHOOSH! STAYCATION?

A seven-week program for children and youth who have completed kindergarten through the eighth grade.

Participants will explore fascinating experiences in Greater Detroit traditions, culture, games, creative arts, writing, and personal academic growth and development. 

Learning and engagement are central to a thematic, value-based curriculum in a caring, fun, stress-free, and safe environment. Excursion costs and transportation, meals and snacks, individual learning resources, and internet access for web-enhanced instruction to support attainment of learning goals are included in the registration fee.

Tuition Payment Information

  • A non-refundable $225 enrollment deposit is required to reserve tentative placement in the WHOOSH Staycation Program.

  • Families selecting a tuition installment plan must finalize all payment arrangements before the program begins.

  • Extended payment plans may include a small administrative convenience fee to assist with payment processing, invoicing, and account management associated with flexible payment options.*

Passport Priority Perk

Families who complete full tuition payment by Orientation Day may qualify for select WHOOSH Staycation incentives, including:

  • Reduced transportation fees from designated pickup locations

  • Priority placement processing

  • Special WHOOSH travel-themed extras

Transportation incentives are offered on a limited basis, while space permits, and are available only from designated pickup locations selected by Red Apples Alliance.
